since i have seizures, i can't drive (and i wouldn't trust myself to get behind the wheel with all my other shit), i can't really work, if at all, so i can't really meet people

it's an imflamed blood vessel in the brain which can end up in a hemhorrage if not treated

i'm sure it does. my mom said not to get depressed about anything, that to count myself as impressive miracle. everybody has noticed the change in me since getting out of the hospital 2 months ago (has it really only been 2 months?! jesus christ, it seems like time has zipped by).

it's not so much the getting old part (even though the fact that this year is #24 is surprising enough) but more the fact time seems to be going fast

reading kyle dies again reminds me of how lucky i am to still be alive after almost dying twice a little over 4 months ago

its kinda cool cause the story is almost like that

in my case it wasn't a heart condition, the first time it was because of the scar tissue and adhesions that needed to be removed from around my small intestine and then there was the day i ended up at the icu with respriatory distress which eventually became respiratory failure all because of pneumonia. i remember that date well since seeing the report from the medical records, which was oct 29th and it also told about the intubation as soon as i got to the icu.

i went and saw a nutritionist yesterday to try and come up with something to boost my calorie intake and i told her about that whole hospital adventure. she wound up giving me a hug as i was leaving.

that's the same thing my mom said but it's true, i'm lucky to be alive. it's just like my neurosurgeon hugging me when he saw me after i got out of the hospital, which he was telling everybody he was going to do.

that neurosurgeon has been treating me for a long time. he did a lot of my surgeries.
