Seems like nowadays 95% of people have cell phones. So do you have a cell phone and if so, what carrier and kind?

I got sprint and been with them about 2 years. I just traded my phone with one my sister just stopped using because she got a new one for her birthday saturday. It's a palm centro and it's really badass. My brother in-law has a black one and that's how i started really wanting one. Mine's red and they said i can connect it to the computer and it will transfer everything from my other phone to this one.

It's my 4th phone and we'll see if it's the best one. The first one was with cricket and started falling apart about a week after i gave it to my step-brother (i was like dude, what the hell did you do? lol) That was when i got my first one through sprint. That one was pretty cool. All black with an outside display and i traded that with the phone i just traded with my sister. Nothing wrong with it but like i said i really liked the palm. This one has like a mirror on the outside. The palm is like a blackberry but smaller with probably most or all the same functions (i don't know about that yet, my sister is going to introduce it to me tomorrow).

I have an iPhone 3G on o2.
Had the original iphone before that on o2. (being the only carrier that lets you have iPhones)

Before that I had a Nokia E65 which sucked (kept crashing) and was on 3. Ended up getting out of contract cause it was so bad.

Then before that a Samsung on T-Mobile which was ok.

I'm with T-Mobile and I have a Samsung Gravity. I LOVE it. The little side keyboard is so useful for texting.

I had Cingular and Verizon before...Cingular from 2005-2006 and Verizon from 2006-2007. With Cingular we had the free phones that came with the Go Phone plan. Same with Verizon.

We signed a contract with T-Mobile and I got a Razr. Eventually it fell apart because I fall and drop phones a lot. I replaced it with a shitty like $50 phone that lasted less than a year. Now I have my Gravity and I am happy.

I wanted a Blackberry, but you have to pay an extra $34 per month per phone to have the internet on them. So I said screw that.

When we switched over my service from my katana to my palm, it was pretty easy. All my brother in-law did was call sprint, say my sister sold me the palm, and tell them i wanted switched to that one. That was it. No charge to do it, no extended contract, and my plan still has everything with it (including unlimited text and sprint vision (internet)). I got to play with it some more and my sister showed me a site to make my own ring tone for free. I don't think it matters what phone it is or the carrier and if anybody wants to check it out, it's www.ventones.com/make-free-ringtone.aspx. If you have a music downloading site or you just want to use an mp3 file, just follow the instructions and you're good to go.

How old is it? I know the a640 i had (my first phone through sprint) was acting up after about a year and a half, which is why i got the katana a little early. It would keep shutting itself off, especially on the charger. It did that about 4 or 5 times a day so i finally took it in and they told me that it might have a short in it. I figured it would be cheaper to just get the katana instead of getting the other one fixed (i had the discount upgrade for being 1 year into the contract so it was $75 off). I loved that katana but when i saw the palm and my brother in-law offered to trade, i couldn't resist.

Yeah, sometimes phones do that kind of shit. That cricket one i got for my graduation 3 years ago fell apart after a year too. Lucky for me it was a week after i gave it to my step brother. With cricket, if it sounds to good to be true, it is. There's always a catch and in this case you have all the unlimited blah, blah, blah, but it doesn't have a whole lot of coverage areas. If i would've still had it when we moved to that tiny town, i would never have got a signal there. Hell, i'm at my sister's spending a couple nights there right now and they recently got a landline because they don't have a hell of a lot of luck with a signal and they have sprint too. I've been pretty lucky so far but that's how the first house we were in here was. Texting's no problem since amanda was texting me for a while earlier. I'd say maybe look and see what new phones are running before you decide whther you want to get yours fixed since they may have to give it an operation and there's no telling what it'll cost.

i went and got my phone upgrade. i got a sanyo scp-3810 and this phone is really neat. it has the mirrored finish on the outside and is longer and wider than the other one, which i now refer to it as retired XD. the other one was smaller than this one is and fits perfectly in the case i used for the old one.
