2 more weeks

I'm getting ready to move in a few weeks so that means i'll be getting out of that hell hole of a job i have. THANK GOD!!! I've been wanting out of there since february but now it's finally going to be a reality. I'm either going to transfer to another wal-mart and be a stocker or quit wal-mart altogether and go to work at another place which is way the hell closer to where i'm going to be. It'll still be in queen creek but more farther in and there's a grocery store that i'm gonna try getting a hold of tomorrow that's the closest job to my house i've ever had. So about 2 more weeks then i'm FREE!!!

Hopefully i'll be out of wal-mart altogether. I have an interview over at another grocery store wednesday but there is absolutely no way in hell i'm going to cashier again. But anyway, the move will happen by the end of the month. First we gotta fix the house up a bit (painting, a couple rooms need new carpet, window blinds, screens, new garage door) and when all is said and done, the cost of all that shit will be knocked of the first month's rent. So, whatever i end up doing as far as my job is concerned, i'll be putting in my 2 weeks on thursday.

My mom got to see what i have to deal with as far as the shortage thing is concerned. As i was leaving, we saw that there was only a new person and one of the regular afternoon cashiers and i'm pretty sure at least one person called out and we were standing in a line to customer after we picked up a couple things (and it was a pretty long line too). I looked right at her and said now you see why i want out of here so bad?. I'm taking the weekend off next week to help move whether work likes it or not and if they try to get me to come in i'll tell them look you should've thought of hiring more morning weekend people by now so kiss my ass, i'm getting a weekend for once. I won't really give a shit either cause since i have to put off that interview at the grocery store since the interviewer called in sick yesterday, it'll be this coming thursday for sure that i'm giving my 2 weeks.

Well good luck man, you'll need it. The VTA position I was gonna take up is apparently gonna take 6 months plus to actually get in to, which is a LONG time, but at 17 plus an hour driving it'd be damn worth it! But in the mean time I'm gonna have to find something I can hold a while then just dump off when I want to, and it's tough!

Well the date for moving again is official and my last day at work is on august 14th at the latest but it may be as soon as the 10th. I'm going to have to transfer again but at least since i'm moving back to the city i can use the transit service again even though where i'm going to transfer is almost into the next city which is saying something because mesa is pretty big. But i don't have any real option if i can transfer and still have a job because most of the other wal-marts around here are on a hiring freeze but going into the one i'm going to means i can finally go into ics which is what i've wanted to do for a long time.
