I guess it did rain yesterday so that would bring the total rainfall for this year so far to about 2 3/4in., a little over half of the average yearly rainfall around here.

today wasn't bad, topping out at about 62 or so. as much as i prefer winter to summer, it's not such a good thing for me because of my weakened immune system and how much easier it is for bacteria and viruses to reproduce quickly in the cold. even with the warmth earlier when i was at the store and doing laundry (the washer shorted out), i still wore a sweatshirt nonetheless. looks like another snowstorm is taking aim at the northeast again in probably the same area so i'm sure people there are thinking "oh shit, not this again".

it was nice today. they said on the news that it topped out to 66 but the radio station said 68 but whatever. it's supposed to warm up to 75 in a few days. i know people on the east coast are sick of the snow (i know john is anyway). they're probably close to exceeding the precipitation for the year for phoenix already.
